Unlike most highschools in New York, handball isn’t so popular. As a team we don’t get payed much attention to or get any encouragement or recognition. Tomorrow will be the day where we try and pull through as division champions. We’re playing bayside as a tiebreaker since we’re tied at 9-1, for the #1 seed in play offs. We’ll be playing at francis lewis highschool around 4pm. I won once and I lost once against this school, so did the rest of the team except for our 3rd singles, whose undefeated, and our 2nd doubles whose lost twice. My team depends on me the most to win my game because they look at me as their most valuable player, coach calls me his ‘weapon’. If i win my game everyones motivation will fly through the roof. People are coming down from all over the place, and all the old players from the handball team to come and support. Winning this match tomorrow will mean everything to me, our team, and Cardozo Highschool. It’s time for handball to recognized and respected ! LETS GO
